VW Passat Recall

Volkswagen has recalled 410,000 gasoline powered Passat vehicles because of different defect dangers.

One is the possibility of damaged heat shields and covers 1999 to 2005 model year Passats.

Some 1.8 liter turbo charged engine Passats also may have faulty fuel line defects.

Other Passats have damaged fuel tank ventilation valves.

Looks sort of like a "if you don't have one defect, you'll probably have another" story coming out of VW.

We'll post details when we learn more. For now, be careful. Call your dealer. Deadly defects are nothing to let your dealer stall about.

If your VW dealer gives you a runaround, contact us or call us 1-888-331-6422 Toll Free. We get rid of lemon VWs everyday.
