Suzuki is recalling over 32,000 certain model year 2009 thru 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara built prior to Oct. 17, 2010, and model year 2010 Suzuki SX4 and model year 2011 Suzuki SX4 vehicles that were built before Oct. 14, 2010, Suzuki says.
Part of the engine, a tension adjuster pulley for the drive belt, can break. If that happens, the drive belt can start to squek or come off. That can cause the steering to get significantly harder. It can also cause the engine temperature to rise and overheat. The battery can start to run down because it won’t be getting charged up during normal operation. The engine can even stall and quit on you.
