Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021 GLE450 and AMG GLE53 vehicles. In the passenger-side footwell, the ground connection bolts for the electric heater may be improperly tightened.
Dealers will check the electric heater ground connection and repair it as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 18, 2022. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
